diaballo, diabolos

diaballo (verbi) 1225 (1) - syyttää, panetella
from 1223 and 906; (figuratively) to traduce:--accuse. Lit. signifies "to hurl across" (dia, "through," ballo, "to throw"), and suggests a verbal assault. It stresses the act rather than the author, as in the case of aitia and kategoria.

Verbi diaballo tulee apusanasta dia (viittaa toiminnan kanavaan -> läpi, kautta) ja verbistä ballo (heittää, viskata, lyödä alas). Diaballo viittaa sanalliseen hyökkäykseen ja korostaa pikemminkin tekoa kuin tekijää.

DIABOLOS ON ADJEKTIIVI eli laatusana  -  ja se tulee verbistä diaballo (1225).

KJV kääntää sen usein sanalla devil eli paholainen. Se on kirkon tradition sekä kääntäjän teologian mukainen käännös. Suomenkielisissä raamatuissa diabolos on usein käännetty sanalla  perkele, joka - kirkon tradition mukaisesti -  ymmärretään sanalla paholainen tai piru.  

Perkele on kääntäjien valinta, mutta sanan merkitys ei viittaa mihinkään pahaan henkiolentoon, vaan pahanpuhumiseen, johon ihminen kykenee ihan ilman perkeleitä.  Meissä jokaisessa on liha, joka saa aikaan itsesyytöksiä, panettelua ja vähättelyä yhtä lailla kuin se voi vääristellen pöhöttää ylpeyteen.

Vieläpä Jahve tunsi Mooseksen nimeltä, heillä oli läheinen suhde, kuten muutama jae aikaisemmin mainitaan; "Herra puhutteli Mosesta kasvosta niin kasvoon, niinkuin joku ystävätänsä puhuttelee." Jumala antaa armon sille, joka etsii Hänen mielisuosiotaan. Hepreassa armo-sanaan (chen) liittyy yleensä verbi löytää (matsa  4672). Meidän käännöksissä se on usein hävitetty pois. Sanasta matsa tulee myös matsa-leipä. Pesachina on lapsille leikki, jossa piilotetaan matsaleipä ja he saavat sitten etsiä ja löytää sen.

Armoa ei ansaita, mutta se kuitenkin ansaitaan, koska Jumala armahtaa sitä, joka etsii Hänen tahtoaan. Hänen mielisuosionsa on niiden yllä, jotka etsivät Hänen opetustaan tehdäkseen sen mukaisesti. Löysä armoriittää-opetus vesittää Jumalan tahdon ja vie ihmiset tuhoon.

4 Sillä teidän keskuuteenne on pujahtanut eräitä ihmisiä, joiden jo aikoja sitten on kirjoitettu tulevan tähän tuomioon, jumalattomia (asebes),  jotka kääntävät meidän Jumalamme armon irstaudeksi ja kieltävät meidän ainoan valtiaamme ja Herramme, Jeesuksen Kristuksen...

8 Yhtäkaikki nämä uneksijat samoin saastuttavat lihan; he halveksivat herrautta, herjaavat kirkkauden henkiolentoja.

9 Mutta ei ylienkeli Miikaelkaan, kun riiteli ja väitteli perkeleen kanssa Mooseksen ruumiista, rohjennut lausua herjaavaa tuomiota, vaan sanoi: "Rangaiskoon sinua Herra!"

10 Nämä sitävastoin herjaavat sitä, mitä eivät tunne; mutta minkä he järjettömäin eläinten tavoin luonnostaan ymmärtävät, sillä he turmelevat itsensä.

11 Voi heitä, sillä he kulkevat Kainin tietä ja heittäytyvät palkan tähden Bileamin eksytykseen ja hukkuvat niskoitteluunsa niinkuin Koora!

12 He likapilkkuina teidän rakkausaterioillanne julkeasti kemuilevat ja itseään kestitsevät. He ovat vedettömiä, tuulten ajeltavia pilviä, paljaita, syksyisiä puita, hedelmättömiä, kahdesti kuolleita, juurineen maasta reväistyjä,

13 rajuja meren aaltoja, jotka vaahtoavat omia häpeitään, harhailevia tähtiä, joille pimeyden synkeys ikuisiksi ajoiksi on varattu.

14 Heistäkin Eenok, Aadamista seitsemäs, on ennustanut, sanoen: "Katso, Herra tulee tuhannen tuhansine pyhinensä

15 tuomitsemaan kaikkia ja rankaisemaan kaikkia jumalattomia kaikista heidän jumalattomista teoistansa, joita he jumalattomuudessaan ovat tehneet, ja kaikesta julkeasta, mitä nuo jumalattomat syntiset ovat häntä vastaan puhuneet".

16 He ovat napisijoita, kohtalonsa nurkujia ja vaeltavat himojensa mukaan; heidän suunsa puhuu pöyhkeitä, ja he mielistelevät ihmisiä oman etunsa tähden.

17 Mutta te, rakkaani, muistakaa nämä sanat, mitkä meidän Herramme Jeesuksen Kristuksen apostolit ovat edeltäpäin puhuneet,

18 sanoen teille: "Viimeisenä aikana tulee pilkkaajia (empaiktes), jotka vaeltavat jumalattomuutensa (asebeia) himojen mukaan".

19 Nämä juuri saavat aikaan hajaannusta, he ovat sielullisia, henkeä heillä ei ole.

5 Kerran Joosef näki unen ja kertoi sen veljilleen; sen jälkeen he vihasivat häntä vielä enemmän.

Mitä LYHDE oikeastaan symboloi?

Löysin kaksi lyhdettä merkitsevää heprean sanaa; alummah (sidottu lyhde) ja omer (uutislyhde, goomer-mitta). Uudesta testamentista en löytänyt lyhdettä, jyviä kylläkin ja sidottuja lustekimppuja.
