Seurakunta, totuuden pylväs ja perustus

14 Vaikka toivon pian pääseväni sinun tykösi, kirjoitan sinulle tämän,
15 että, jos viivyn, tietäisit, miten tulee olla Jumalan huoneessa, joka on elävän Jumalan seurakunta, totuuden pylväs ja perustus.
16 Ja tunnustetusti suuri on jumalisuuden salaisuus: Hän, joka on ilmestynyt lihassa, vanhurskautunut Hengessä, näyttäytynyt enkeleille, saarnattu pakanain keskuudessa, uskottu maailmassa, otettu ylös kirkkauteen.(1938)

Onko elävän Jumalan seurakunta totuuden pylväs ja perustus? Näin se on käännetty, mutta ajatuksena se on outo. 

14 Kirjoitan tämän sinulle, vaikka toivon pian pääseväni luoksesi.
15 Jos kuitenkin viivyn, saat tästä tietää, miten tulee käyttäytyä Jumalan huoneessa, joka on elävän Jumalan seurakunta, totuuden pylväs ja perustus.
16 Tunnetusti suuri on jumalisuuden salaisuus: Hän ilmestyi lihassa, hänet osoitettiin vanhurskaaksi Hengessä, hän näyttäytyi enkeleille, häntä julistettiin pakanoiden keskuudessa, häneen uskottiin maailmassa, hänet otettiin ylös kirkkauteen. (RK)

14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:
15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (KJV)

14 I write these things to you, hoping to come to you shortly.
15 But if I delay, that you may know how to behave in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

These things I write to thee, while hoping soon to come to thee; but if I should delay, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to conduct thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God. The pillar and the foundation of the truth, and truly great, is this mystery of righteousness, which was revealed in the flesh, and justified in the spirit, and seen by angels, and proclaimed among the Gentiles, and believed on in the world, and received up into glory.
